After few years working with several startups, Jamie istarted with the idea of Chicmi with his wife, Aowen, and officially launched it in London six months ago. Chicmi is a mobile application platform targeting tourists who are interested in fashion and would like to explore local boutique shops. Even though Jamie and Aowen came from completely different backgrounds, a British businessman and a British Chinese artist, the strategy of forming a diversified team turns out valuable.

How to build a right cofounder team?

First of all, choosing persons you feel comfortable work with is very important, which makes the team functional and productive. Secondly, it is also helpful to find someone who has entirely different set of skills to make the team more diversified as possible because you might need to do everything on your own when starting a business, also, getting people from several backgrounds brings different perspectives, something you might not think of, during meetings and makes the project more holistic, leading your team to success.
